This person was not born in Texas but spent all but 6 years of their life here. This individual attended elementary, middle and high school in the same city before leaving home for college. In college, this person received a major in Accounting and minored in shooting pool, playing frisbee & hackie-sack, and listening to native Texan musicians at local hill-country dance halls.

After graduation, this person found employment in Dallas in the credit department of a large bank. It was here that cupid's arrow took aim on a young couple and love was in the air. After a period of time, this couple married and settled in Carrollton, Texas. While living in Carrollton, they had 2 daughters and then moved to their current home in Flower Mound in 1994, where they then had a son.

Their oldest daughter is a Freshman at Texas State University, their second daughter is a Sophomore at Marcus High School, and their son is in the 7th grade at Lamar Middle School. This person has always been active in the kids' lives, including many years of coaching softball, baseball, participation in scouts and the YMCA Indian princess program.

This individual is happiest while golfing, fishing, laying on the beach in Mexico, or at the pool at home. Their best memories include family trips to the beach in Florida's panhandle, trips to Disney World, fishing trips to Canada, golfing in Hawaii & Mexico, and family vacations tubing down the San Marcos River or camping out. This person is reliable, honest and possesses a high work ethic and integrity. If you become a friend of this person's, you will be a friend for life.

The same bank has employed this individual for nearly 25 years, although it has undergone many name changes over the years. What began as a career at Mercantile Bank has now brought this individual to occupy the corner office of Chase Bank at Main & Civic, here in Lewisville. This person's spouse of nearly 21 years is a Registered Nurse at Baylor Dallas.   You may have already guessed that our 2007 citizen of the year is Terry Allen of Chase.
